I have been working for this day for a long time. It's the first time in over 2 months that I haven't had to use crutches to walk a few steps. I guess that the physical therapy is working.
I was so happy that I came home from church and went into my closest to dust off my right shoe. I haven't worn two shoes in over 2 months either. I laced up that bad boy and hobbled around the kitchen for about half an hour.
I'm back off my feet and my right ankle is throbbing like crazy. But I don't care. Even though I resembled Frankenstein's monster when I was walking today, I was walking. If I felt any better, I'd do the happy dance.
Happy Sunday everyone.

. Just make sure you don't over do it.

- You'll be ready for Memorial Day and WDW in no time. But listen to your DIS friends (and your physical therapist
) and just keep taking it one step at a time.
