7:08am voting complete

I was lucky voter number 13

Kerry was my pick......(though really wasn't thrilled with either choice)

Sure did! We got to the polls just after they opened and the line was out the door. Half an hour later, we cast our votes for Kerry & Edwards. Just hope that new electronic voting machine recorded our votes properly!

We just got backa little while ago. We go there around 6:00 am when the polls opened! We were numbers 59 and 61. DH is usually number 6! So far it looks like a strong voter turn out! We saw a lot of neighbors there this monring!

I normally go when DH gets home from work; but since DD was awake we all went together. I am glad! Now I don't have to sit and wait until tonight to cast my vote!

Even better was the fact that no one there campaigning before you go in! No flyers, no hand outs, and no one trying to change my vote at the last minute! ;)

Jodi :D

Arrived there this morning at 6:10. Ended up being voter number 62 in my precinct. Lots of people were out voting. :D

I'll go on the way home with the crowds. It was too crowded at 6:15 and I have to catch the train.

Tried to go this morning but the line was out the door and around the corner, since it was raining I decided I would just go after work.

I have never seen my voting place this busy but that is a good sign that people are out and voting. :sunny: :sunny:

Yup. Was there 15 minutes before the polls opened, and was done about 15 minutes after they opened. I was number 8. The people that work at my polling place are VERY slow!! I was glad I got there when I did.

Go W!!!

I knew I liked you Zurgswife. I am on my way now for another vote for Kerry.

Yes! DH and I voted this morning. 2 more votes for Kerry in Ohio!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I had planned to take my children with me, but I overslept (I am a State of Illinois employee and we have the day off) and had to rush to get them to school. I whispered a short prayer and cast my vote.

Sidenote: The lady in front of me, who has lived in my town for over thirty-five years AND has voted in every election, DID NOT show up as an eligible voter. Even the poll workers were confused as they recognized her and knew her very well. She was very calm and they had her fill out several forms and present two pieces of picture ID's and was eventually allowed to vote.

I just got back and voted for the first time in my life. I feel great, I feel empowered.

It helps to be toward the end of the alphabet, as it only took me 10 minutes or so from registering to inserting my ballots. :D

I'm voting tonight after work. My boss is letting me off early, so hopfully I'll miss the evening rush. At least the polling place is only 2 minutes from my house.

I voted at 11:30 this morning, along with DH. He let me cut in line ;)
