I used a card for reservations, but my number is changing soon. Will I lose my reservations?

Credit card company decided to change my card number and reissue a new one. This is probably just paranoia, but I'm afraid I'll lose my reservations once I activate my new card and the current one becomes invalid. Anyone have experience with this?

I don't know. I thought maybe their system would suddenly recognize the current number as invalid. It's an unfounded fear, I'm sure. Or I hope, anyway.

Yes, it's unfounded. WDW won't know unless the try to charge it.

Disney isn't going to check the thousands of cards they have on file over the 180 days you can have adrs booked to see if a card is still active.

I had to cancel the credit card account that my ADRs were made with....I wanted to change to a new card so I could make new reservations without worry (and to avoid any future confusion). The account function for updating my profile wouldn't let me change the card on file. I made a new "easy to get" reservation so i could enter the new card number and select tHe option to make it my card for everything....and then canceled that reservation.

Ooh, good idea! I might do this too. Like you said, I want to make sure I have the same card for everything.

Our last trip the credit card I used for all ADRs got hit for fraud and Visa cancelled it for us. Didn’t affect our ADRs at all.

This. Just had to change mine for the same reason. No effect on the ADRs. The only issue was when I tried to make a new one before I got the new card - it just said "card not valid, please enter a valid card" which I did for that ADR only.
