I tried on my vow renewal wedding gown and........

Its TOO BIG!!!!!! It fits nicely in the waist and hips but across the top its too big!!! We are waiting until Mid June to alter it since I am still losing weight. I even ordered a size smaller than they suggested for me!!! Wooooo hooooo do I feel GOOD!!!!!

This was the first time I saw the actual gown. I ordered it just from a picture on a website. Its just soooooo pretty and it looks wonderful on!!!

Glo here is a link to the gown I bought. Doesnt look quite this good on me but it looks very nice on me. I was nervous about the no sleeves but my arms really dont look that bad. I do need to work on them though.

Nancy the plans are going along nicely. Ive been soooo busy with the planning and with my eldest son and youngest son that I havent had time to post on the YaYa thread. We ordered our cake for the breakfast we are having at Ohana and it is just sooooo pretty. Pretty much everything is planned, bought, and set up now so things should start slowing down for me. LOL.

You thread makes me so excied. I'm so happy for you and i would love to hear all the details of what your doing. My husband has said for my 10th anniversary we would do a vow renewal. I don't know what kind of gown is proper but i got excited when i saw yours. I just thought a shorter version of a wedding dress. But i love yours and if you do it well i could have one too right.LOL I had the court house quicky with NO picutres, NO cake, NO honeymoon. My dh promised on the 10th i'd have it all and he's planning it all. We just celebrated our 9th on May 2 so he's got a whole year. Is there any places you suggest or checked out before deciding on WDW. I was thinking troplcal. But we don't fly or if we did fly for the first time it have to be fairly short. There's a place i saw on the travel channel called Little Dix Bay off the florida keys it's a secluded couples only resort with only 25 couples at the time. I also would love Hawii but the flight time is longer than we want. Thanks for sharing your special time with all of us. You are gonna make a beautiful bride!

We pretty much decided right off that we wanted Disney or near Disney. We decided on Leu Gardens because what Disney wanted was way too high. There was also a lot of stuff we wouldnt use. Leu Gardens is about 11 miles outside of Disney and it has a wonderful Gazebo in the woods. The officiant we have does a lot of the Disney Weddings and he LOVES to do vow renewals even more than weddings. The whole package which includes the Gazebo, the officiant, the flowers, the photographer, and the limo was only 1000 which is about 1100 dollars cheaper than Disney and Disney doesnt include the flowers. If you have any questions etc...about doing a vow renewal feel free to PM me. The gown I got is actually in ivory but its very very pale ivory so it shows up white in the pictures.

I sent Merriweather a picture of me in the gown and she will post it here as soon as she gets the chance to.
