I traded my stroller for a wheelchair...A mom & daughter trip to WDW

I left off with us finishing our photoshoot at GF and heading to Poly for dinner at O'hanas. Our reservations were for 7 p.m., it was about 6 or so at this point. We made our way over there, but not without trouble, again!
We went out of GF and headed back towards Poly, Mom is telling Jodi which way to go and we see the Poly, so tell her to turn in, well, we end up turning into a service entrance with a security gate! We pull up, there is no one manning it, you have to enter a code to get through! So, Jodi backs up some, and starts doing a 3 point turn (but it ended up being more like a 20 point turn!! LOL!!) in this area, as she is doing it a BUS pulls in!!!! Oh my..I wasn't sure we'd survive this one!!! I was laughing SO hard in the back seat, cause Jodi was all stressed out, Mom was laughing and it was pretty funny...probably moreso than I'm describing!! Here is Jodi doing her 3 point turn...

We make our way in and find O'hana's, I was really excited for this dinner, I had heard SO many good things about it. We had some time to wait, decided to grab a couple of drinks and chill some, Jodi needed it at this point!!

We order a couple of drinks, here is us waiting....

I had heard some wonderful things about LAPU LAPU so Jodi and I decided to order one of those, Mom got a vodka drink of some sort, I can't remember. The Lapu Lapu's were to DIE FOR!! Man, I could go for one now!!!!!!!

Jodi finally chilled out and it was time for dinner!!

We had a wonderful dinner, I must have stopped taking pictures at this point!!! I have none from dinner!! We took soooo many that day, that I think I just decided to sit and enjoy myself. We enjoyed a great meal, the food was awesome and I would highly recommend this place, if you haven't been. It's family style and just delish!!!!!

We headed back to POP after dinner, it had been a LONG day....but a great day!!!!!

We really did!! I prefer doing the buses, personally, even though I was a back seat driver, I thought it was confusing around there!! I'd much rather just jump on the bus BUT it was fast!!!!

Kristen is the Lapu Lapu a sweet drink? I was just wondering what was in it. If we do get over to Ohana's I was thinking of trying one, but I don't like really sweet drinks. Knowing me, I wouldn't be able to finish it and the hubby would have to and he certainly doesn't like sweet drinks.

I'm glad you had a great meal at Ohana. I've been there twice, with one good and one so-so visit. I'm hoping the visit this year goes better again. I had really loved it my first trip. I love the banana bread pudding. Yum!

Hi everyone!! TGIF!

I don't have time to respond now, have SO much to do because I'm headed out of town for the weekend...to NYC, another girls weekend!!!!!!!!!! My friends husband travels a lot for work and he had all these hotel points to use, so he got us a hotel in Times Square for 2 nights!!!!!! We leave this afternoon, when the guys get home from work and head that way. Just me and my 3 girlfriends! I"m soo lucky!!! We don't have too many plans, I've never been to NYC, so we're just going to tour it, have a nice dinner out tomorrow night and drinks. I'm really looking forward to it! Between the 4 of us, we have 10 boys (Ethan is the oldest!) and 1 baby girl came this Spring, so we never get to finish a conversation so this wil be soooo much fun!!! And the weather looks like it's going to be just perfect for us to tour! So, I am signing off for now and will be back in touch when I get home and before I head out of town again to Philly to see Todd's parents for Thanksgiving! I hope you're all well!!

Have a great time in NYC Kristen. Maybe you can do a mini-TR inside this TR. I have only been to NYC twice. Once on a layover from CA on my way to Europe (when I lived in CA) and once on a day shopping trip with my mom. A girls weekend sounds awesome!
