I have a new LSS and they were having a paint stamp class so my GF and I took it $12 including supplies (enough for a 2 page spread) and I have to say I really like the look. So here I go buying new supplies :rotfl:
A few months ago I saw at another scrap store they had a WDW layout with the words DISNEY painted on the side in primary colors that I liked alot so I will have to scraplift that one.

Sounds like it was a fun class. I wish my LSS would have something like that.

Gotta love taking classes and learning new things!

I wish I had an LSS closer that actually taught new techniques!

When I was at my scrapbook weekend, we did some painting in the card class I took. The owner of the store that did the class was also doing painting in her scrapbook. It was really cool! She had one page with a combo of painting, torn paper and some inking. As pigletspal said, now we have to buy more supplies!!!

What kind of paint do they use? I have tons of bottles of craft paint that I used to use for tole painting.

Well MM has there own paint they just brought out. Check the labels to see if they happen to be acid free then it will be OK to use.

I went to a class that used paints... a Bazzill class. Today, I'm finally using new paints I bought because of it... LOL!!

Okay Piglets Pal - a bit OT but I noticed in your signature that you are going to be at Disney in 12/05. For Christmas by any chance??? We are and it would be cool to possibly meet another scrapbooker!!!

Okay - back to the topic.

That would be great, but its the first week in Dec that we will be there. I went one year at Christmas and it just wasn't the same for use, so for now on Christmas at home....LOL

SORRY

Still OT- Pigletspal, we'll be there the 1st week of Dec too! Hope to see you!!!

Back to topic- I LOVE MM paints and foam stamps! I use them all the time. I also read a great article about altering the sponge applicators. For example, tie rubber bands around the sponge part, vertically, and paint with it...it gives you lines. Cut notches in the sponge for different effects.
Experiment with your brushes and paints and have fun! You'll love them!!!
