Beautiful shots of AK as always.

I'm sort of at a loss for words today. I'm enjoying the silence here in my home, after spending this last few days with my mom on steroids (no seriously) to bring the swelling of the cancer down, she has been non-stop talking. I was going to do an update on my TR but I just don't know if I can muster up the energy to do it.

I will find the words to say this though......Travel blessings and prayers of safety while you are on your trip. I know how hard and much you've been working here of late, so I know this trip is a much needed one.

Can you believe I got them? And I got BOTH of them! Usually they are way too far away, but between zooming and cropping. Yay! I am thrilled they didn't turn out blurry!

Really loved all of your safari pictures and the Nemo pictures. That is such a visually stunning show. I'm not a huge fan of the songs but I love the storyline and the puppets and effects are amazing!

I went ahead and got it and used it often enough this last trip that it will not be hard to break even on it in January. I didn't get a list though... I should have got a list?

That's great that you are just about to break even. I'm pretty sure we broke evening on our June trip even though I didn't keep track of exactly how much we spent.

A list of restaurants? You can find them on line. I love that TIW can be used in almost all the TS restaurants. I think it just can't be used in some of the non Disney owned restaurants.

I am so sorry about Max. I found myself fighting back tears as I read your post about him. Having had a couple amazing cats and a slew of not so amazing ones...I can appreciate when you find one that is truly “your” cat.

Thank you! I really miss Max. It was an awesome cat but I knew in my heart that he wasn't going to live long once he got diabetes. He has just had so many things wrong with him over the years. And I had so many health scares with him that I think I was prepared as much as was possible. Now I am trying to focus on my other cats and enjoy them because I've ignore them for what seems like a long time.

What a great hieroglyphic pic you got a few year back. A little better than your more recent one

It was SO much better. My timing was perfect and that was with my old camera.

So the meeting of Kathy and Mary in the lobby was by chance? Isn’t it great when that happens? I ran in to a few people just by chance this last trip. The world seems so big... but it really isn’t when you can run into someone you recognize.

We had a breakfast meet in the morning, but the evening meet was totally spontaneous. I had walked over to the BC to say hi to Anita and Mark, and Mary and Kathy just happened to be walking through the lobby with the girls. DIS meet score!

What a truly special sign with the bird.

That was such a memorable moment! Just perfect!

I love your EE pics. I would never be able to get anything like those. Having my hands not firmly grasping the bar would be hard enough for me... but using a camera?

Believe me, I wasn't always that brave. I watched Denny do it once and I figured that if he could do it, so could I. I'm competitive like that.

I loved the BBT reference with soft kitty, warm kitty.... yes, I'm singing along when I read that! Speaking of kitties, awesome photos of the cheetahs on the safari. It looked like they were totally cool with you taking their photo!

I love that song. It just makes me smile so I suddenly got this brain storm to use it for the update title. It was almost something else.

I do think the cheetahs were totally posing for me! They look so darn cool.... Now about that lion!

Thank you! I am so pleased with how well the pictures turned out. I sat closer than usual because we actually got in the theatre before they were closing the doors.

As for your travel plans this coming week - I'll be interested to hear all about it. It's like 3 mini vacations all put together. I hope you enjoy your AKL stay (a 2 bedroom villa - ahhhh amazing!) and Jiko for Denny's birthday. Speaking of which, happy early birthday to him as well.

Originally we were planning a cruise in the middle of the trip but we canceled and pushed it back until next year. I'm glad we did that. I am excited to see Saint Augustine. I have been wanting to go there for a long time.
