I thought this was rude!

The rules were clearly explained. The room was set up oddly and unlike any other game. And I was not the only one asking. Is it so much to ask to make clear instructions and to explain it to those that are confused? I know that people say to give them a break, but this is their JOB. I have been let go for much less than what they have done wrong. Come on! All I am asking is just not to be rude!

LAtely i think Phinny has being a little on the rude side. What if some little kid is playing and does not get it? She could have said that nicely. Or at least she did not have to say there is nothing to be confused about or whatever.

But then again it is Phinny and I have always found her to be a tad rude, not making excusses for her of course. She should be talked too.

Yeah, not to "bash" Phinny or anything, but she can get a little mean at times. She's booted me many times before because I was "standing in the doorway too long", yet the room (which was filled with stuff made it slower to load) was still loading for me.

happened to me too! i was 74th in line and hadn't moved in ages so i looked and it was like 1 person in the room at 11:10. Yeah Phinny can be nice but is not my favorite host. That's reserved for Lily

Fin is very... erm... how to say this... ok just plain rude most times in her games. She has booted me numerous times before because I couldn't move. Last night, while in her game, I was having some lag still and I could not move. Instead of politely waiting twenty seconds for me to move, she just gave me the boot.

While what she said could be preceived as rude, it could also have been meant tongue in cheek.

Not defending her I was not there but some things can be preceived in print different than how they were meant.

I say stuff like this to people who play my game all the time. It's really frustrating when you JUST FINISHED explaining the game and the first thing out of someone's mouth is "So how do you play?" *facepalm*

Since this is said on screen without any body language being seen or tone inflection being heard, hosts need to be careful of what they are saying to the players. There are young kids who play VMK and I'm sure they go into host games and who may not exactly understand what's going on regardless of what instructions have been left. While it might be annoying to explain the same things over and over again, that kind of comes with the territory when you're doing something like this.

I got in at 11:10 and she said our group was going to be the last game.
we finished about 11:20 (I lost ) anyway there were 2 ppl waiting in line and she said room was closing and no time for another game

Once several months ago, I was in Phinny room for a game, I had just come in and was standing in the door way trying to get on the river line for the game, and she asked me to "take one step back" and when I did it kicked me from the room. Now as a host and someone who sits in those rooms for so long every day, she knew what would happen. I have never cared for her since.

I was in her room for the last game she played. It was not yet time to close but not enough time for another full game before the close time. She stated that this would be the last game. She turned the ride start into the room around so people could not get in they could not enter past the door.

I agree with Mal. This is only one screenshot, we have no idea what else was said after this because we were not in the room at the time. I don't think it is fair for us to pass judgement on her if we did not witness it first hand.

In the nearly 2 years I have been on VMK, I have never, not once, seen Host Phinny treat a player with the proper respect when they were not sucking up to her. This statement listed above was actually quite tame compared to the way she normally acts.
