I Thought This Kind of Stuff Had Stopped?

I was really shocked today. I was on DH's character (male of course ) doing the daily credit run for him. I was in the Emporium and a girl that was still listed as a "guest" walked up to me. I moved away and she walked up to me again. Then she said "Want to come to my room. Puts clothes back on".

I couldn't believe it! We haven't been on VMK much for a couple months, but I thought this sort of stuff was over. I reported her and got the "thank you for reporting" message. I'm just glad DD wasn't playing. This is really ridiculous in a game that is supposed to be for ages 8-14.

I forgot to add (I can't seem to edit my post for some reason) that after accosting me, this player then went around the room begging for free stuff from other players because she said she was so poor.

Stuff like this and really bad fights still happen on VMK. It happened when my little cousin was playing so I told her to keep to herself and to not really talk to anybody when I or her parents weren't around. I don't know if she will listen but let's hope so.

And one time my boyfriend was over playing on his account when a girl walked up to him and tried saying some sexual remarks to him (he ignored her of course). It's just scary and sad, considering we are in our 20's and this girl player couldn't have been older than 14. what are children playing at these days??

It can pretty much happen everywhere. Esplanade is a pretty popular place for it. I've seen it a lot in Snow White's Forest and Storybookland. It's quite disturbing. I usually inform them that their comments are inappropriate, and if they don't stop, I report them and leave.
