Oh, my! One of my co-workers asked me to give her a ride to the airport. When we get to the airport they pull my car over for an inspection. That is really no big deal. While my hubby was active duty we would have to get the car inspected before driving onto base. I also worked at a nuclear facility once and they would inspect our cars before letting through the gates.
Anyhow, they pull my car over to the inspection area and ask me to pop open the back (its a mini-van). At that instant I remembered that hubby had been skeet shooting with my brother-in-law and I have a box of shot-gun shells sitting there! I turn to my co-worker and say, Uuuhhh, Christy, you may be late for your plane. So, the inspector opens that back of the van, looks in, closes the back and says, Have a nice day. So much for inspections!
Now, I cant help but wonder what would have happened if he had noticed the shells. Can they detain you for something like that?
