I was just thinking about how GI Joe doll...sorry, I mean "action figures" have returned to the full size over the smaller, cartoon inspired versions of the 80's.

I thought of how hokey those characters were until I remembered their predecessors:

The Bionic Man came with an engine to lift and the version of Evil Knievel I had was the motorcycle along with the Snake River Canyon jump set.

Of course, I had metal lunchboxes for these two as well as several other heros of the day.
