So we were originally booked at POFQ for our April vacation, for some reason I just wasn't satisfied with the resort and I switched to CSR. We have never stayed at either but CSR grabbed my attention more than POFQ.

We love CSR! The rooms are beautiful, the beds are comfortable and the resort is stunning, especially at night. The main pool is fun, make sure you take a turn down the slide!

LOVE CSR ... we love POR as well, BUT, we would not stay at POFQ. For us, its either POR or CSR !!!

I've heard that slide was fun for adults as well, I will certainly try it out. My boys are 10 & 13 and love swimming.

We stayed at CSR our first trip with our DD, so 4 yrs ago. It was very nice, the rooms are really nice. I think the remodel had been completed shortly before we went.

I like how they have doors to close off the bathroom area. The closet is open to the vanity area, so its quite large. We had a special tent bed for our DD she was 3 at the time. She slept in there, so it was nice being able to close the doors most of the way so she wouldnt be awakened by the tv.

From the pictures I viewed the rooms look good, usually when we are at Disney we never take time to enjoy the resort so this time I am going to.

its possible at check-in, BUT, they actually assign you a room a few days out before you arrive, so its better to have a notation of your request on your reservation. So you can def call in and add it to your reservation.

PS: I LOVE swimming, still a kid in that way. Your boys are going to LOVE LOVE LOVE !!!! CSR pool. Its fricken awesome. I also enjoyed the hot tub, poolside bar, and the beach volleyball courts

I tried POFQ, it is excellent and i would go back in a heartbeat but CS looks nice as well.

Congrats! CSR is a beautiful resort in so many ways. The pool is fun and the lake/landscaping is gorgeous. Have a great trip!

From what I've heard, even Ranchos can be good. Some of the buildings are really close to the pool.

We requested Casitas 4 and got Casitas 5. We call about 10 days in advance and then a few days before ("just to confirm that our request is there...") and usually get something pretty close to what we're asking for.

We liked Casitas, because it was close to the health club and close to bus stop #2, which is actually the first bus stop on the route. We never had to stand on the bus on the way to a park and we were dropped off first at the end of the day. Casitas 5 was about 1/2 way from El Centro and the main pool.

The main pool and el Centro being so far apart is about the ONLY thing that can be a little inconvenient at this resort. It's just beautiful though, so we didn't mind walking.

We are staying at CSR in October and are staying in a preferred room. Does this mean I will be near Bus 2? In Casitas? Or, where will I be? This is my very first trip to WDW. I'm so excited! Thx.
