Maybe I'm wrong, but isn't the whole point of the women's movement to be able to choose what they want to be/do, and not be forced in to a role by anyone? I think Ke$ha is probably pretty happy for herself where she is. Who are we to judge that? Maybe because the smartest girl I know could be a model for Ke$ha's songs, but I see no problem with it.

I've never heard her stuff, but equality (which is what the women's movement is all about) requires that people be allowed to choose the "brainless" option if they really want to. It takes all kinds to make the world go 'round.

I like her. She is never in the tabloids. From what I hear, she is a perfectly normal, boring person. She just figured out what sells and proceeded to make huge amounts of money from it. Her songs are bubble gum pablum with no redeeming artistic merit whatsoever, and she agrees with this assessment. She does not see herself as an "Artiste" unlike some pop starts I could name. Sure, no one will remember her in 5 years. I doubt she cares as she's rolling in the dough.

Well, let me put it this way...if I was her dad, I would not be proud.

I started out a "Ke$ha Hater" until I heard more of her music...and then I saw her on Conan. Her music is fun and fluffy and I can't get enough of it. Her personality is wacky, she's makes fun music, and she carries around a glitter cannon that she shoots into the crowd. Sometimes, i wish I were more like Ke$ha!
