I think that when they redo things like Footloose and Hair Spray that they should get nobodies who the world doesn't really know yet. That way it won't ruin it for anyone but it will still be enjoyable.

hairspray isnt a remake, they're jsut taking the play and turning it into a movie, like Grease, and with Hairspray the main character was a nobody

i think that zac efron is possibly theee worst 'actor' in the history of the world. he's ruining too much. they should bring back summerland for him, it fits his style and lack of talent. but thats just my opinion.

I don't get why people keep casting him for musicals. I read in an old issue of People Magazine, back when HSM first came out, that they had blended his voice with another guys so that he would sound halfway decent when he was singing.

and he's not even cute.

WHY, oh, WHY do Hollywood producers and casting directors feel the need to cast people unfit for their roles?!
