I'm of the nature that I don't take what people say about me on a relatively anonymous internet bulletin board personally.

However, if they'd said something like "speaking of $%@#*$(, where is mrFDNY." Then, heck yeah, I'd be offended.

I guess I haven't been around the DIS enough to know why someone could consider you having an odd writing style?

You know what sweetie, I don't think they meant any harm. I'm like you in a way, I take things personally. Sometimes WAY too personally. I've read your stuff....I don't find it odd in any way. I think the "strangest" thing you posted was about the obese cat! That was you right??

You always have a way of drawing me into what you are writing as if I was reading a book. You often have long post, but they are always written well. You really should write a book. I would buy it. So that may be what she meant. I guess it depends on your history with her.

However, as I am sure you know, you are not the world's best typist. You often tell your whole story in one long paragraph as did the post that was referenced in that thread. You do not capitalize very often and many times you hit the space bar at the wrong time so that words loo klike t his.

Just chiming in with another opinion. I didn't take it as a flame or about the subjects of your posts or their content, I took it to mean the actual style of your writing (sentence structure, punctuation, capitlizations, etc). I wouldn't take it personally, I don't think she intended to offend you but that is IMHO.
