First off thank you to DIS for all of your suggetions in helping me decide when to tell my children about our surprise trip. I have decided to tell them this weekend!!! I am looking for a picture of some place in Disney (any ideas appreciated, keep in mind this is our first trip) I want to have them do a scavenger hunt around the house where they can get different pieces to the puzzle and end up at a box that when opened will have a disney balloon and two Disney guides for kids!! :)
We decided to tell them now because this way they can help us plan our ADR's which are quickly approaching, and because I stink at keeping secrets!! :rotfl:

The castle! Even my 3 year old who hasn't been there since he was 1 1/2 can recognize what it represents.
We surprised our kids 2 years ago by handing my daugther the mapquest directions right before the trip and asking her to figure out where we were going that afternoon. There was a lot of screaming shortly after that. This year we are keeping the hotel a secret and it's killing her. She asks every day. She is going to be thrilled with our choice.
Have fun!
