Do they still get hummingbirds at DL ?
as we were there in dec last time.. cant remember seeing any then

I have not seen any so far. Perhaps they still do visit the land, however, it is a seasonal appearance. For it would relate to which trees and any other flora that they would like to dine on, being in season.

They probably do get hummingbirds in the park but only when there are flowers they like that are in bloom. I have never seen a hummingbird but then again people have seen cats and rats in the parks but I never seen one of those so who knows, lol. I have hummingbirds in my neighborhood but you rarely see them unless there are feeders or favourite bushes.

I've seen one or two but not quite yet. It gets too cold over the winter months and they don't come back until it gets warmer and flowers bloom but yes, I have seen a few.

We get them at home, and DL is downwind from us, so it's certainly possible to have some at DL. You'll need to hang out around h-bird-friendly flowers and trees.
