Can I please, please, please get off the roller coaster?
I think DS has an ear infection. I noticed him "playing" with his ears (mostly the left one) last night and then again this morning. When I picked him up from daycare this afternoon I asked and they said he has been tugging at his ears all day yesterday and today. (As a separate topic - Why didn't they tell me this yesterday?
)
He has not had a fever and he has not been fussier than usual..maybe just a little but not as much as I would expect. He seems to be more bothered by his ears when he lies down and he is not sleeping as well but I thought some of that may have been because he got some shots on Friday afternoon.
I was able to get an appointment to have his ears looked at for this evening. I hope it is nothing but I am afraid that it will be infected.
DS has been dealing with so much. Breastfeeding problems, milk protein allergies, roseola, colds and now possibly an ear infection. When will this all end?

! Seriously, DS is 11 and STILL has ear infections even after having tubes put in and tonsils and adenoids taken out! DD, who breastfed MUCH better and longer has not had as many problems. Perhaps your adorable DS is just teething? Let us hear how it goes! Pixie Dust for him
He said the congestion could be bothering his ears or he could have just discovered that he has ears and is having a good time playing with them.
I hope he does get better soon.
