I think DD may burn out this week!

DD(10) loves to be involved, and usually it all works out. She's in band and chorus at school, in our temple kids choir, and takes ice skating. Not a huge load.

This week's schedule included

Monday:
Before school - extra band rehearsal
After school - private flute and brownies

Tues:
During school - band and chorus concert
After school -Hebrew school (right after school until 6:30)
Band concert 7:30 -9:00
Now she's doing her homework!

Wednesday:
During school - another band concert
After school - Doctore appt (4:00)
Ice Skating (5-6)
Another band concert (7:30-9:00)

Thursday ; After school - Hebrew school (only until 6:30)

Friday - Choir performing at Friday evening service - she needs to be there at 6, service from 7:30 to 9:30

Saturday - I think she'll sleep all day.

My poor baby! But I'm proud of her determination to honor all her committments.

and it doesn't get any easier in middle school, my friend. then they want to join a zillion clubs...

The Phone just rang. DD's friend wanted to know if her mom or DW was driving tomorrow morning for band practice!!! Yes, another early morning practice

I think DD is getting a taste of what real life is like!

I think it's too bad that children in today's world have so many obligations to fulfill. They have so little time to be just children. The other day I heard they even have school activities planned during Christmas break. Come on, Christmas break is supposed to be just that...Christmas break...no school, no school activities. I'm glad mine are grown.

Wow, I'm not sure I could keep up with that schedule either! PD that she makes it through the week!
