Does this happen to anyone else?

About 50% of the time when responding to a post, I get "website not responding" after hitting the send reply button.

I've actually gotten into the habit of copying my reply, just in case I have to "paste" it again if the first one didn't go through.

Aarrggh. This is why I don't respond to alot of what I read. IT'S TOO MUCH WORK!

Oh -- and just in case it matters..... I'm on a dial-up modem which is actually faster than the DSL we have a work. LOL

LOL, it certainly does have a mind of its own, doesn't it? I routinely do a 'select all' then 'copy' after having lost many a post for various problems. Anything more than a line or two, or anything with links, pictures, etc always gets copied before submitting. My picture threads I do in FrontPage, just for ease of making.

A tip, if you are not aware....when you hit submit, and it does not bomb out on you, but rather sits for several minutes, the post has actually 'taken' and you can go to the top of the post reply box and click on either the board link or the post link, and you will go to the boord or post respectively, much faster than waiting. But, caveat emptor, always copy first.
