I live in Ft. Myers, but when Charley hit, I was up in Knoebel's in Elysburg, PA. I was pretty worried about my place, but my parent's home had a downed tree, but the house is in one piece. When I was in PA, I was heading west to Erie, PA and Pittsburgh to get out of Charley's way. The weather was sunny, except for Wednesday, when it just rained in Hershey.

When I was driving home from the airport, there were a lot of downed signs and a few uprooted trees, but no major damage to any homes or buildings that I saw.

PA really didn't get too much rain. Atleast on my end, the other end of the state.

I'm a Red Cross Disaster volunteer and they may need me in Florida for a week. I don't know if I could swing it with work, though. It must be so awful there.

Glad that you and your family are okay!:sunny:

Glad to see you made it home safe, Barry!

We had fun meeting you yesterday - what time did they throw you out of Kennywood?

I just think your timing was phenomenal! Glad to see the house and your parents are okay! Welcome back! :wave2:

What a relief to hear you & your family are ok. That was *quite* the storm for Florida.

How do you know when to leave town?? :p

Good to hear you and folks are well, Barry.

Glad to hear you arrived home safely, and that you didn't go home to a lot of damage. You get see my Knoebels pics by clicking the link on the Meets board.

How did you like Storm Runner at Hershey Park? I brought my two teens and we LOVED it. I can't believe that I used to be such a weenie on coasters (my DH reminded me of this, but HE didn't ride Storm Runner, so who is he to talk?)! We tried to go later in the day, but didn't want to wait in line again. We will return, however!

T&B

Glad to hear everything turned out well for you Barry. :)
