I survived CHA Anaheim!

Hi everyone, I just got back from CHA Anaheim late last night (technically early this morning) and wanted to let you know how much fun it was! After spending four days at the convention there were still entire sections I didn't even get to check out! That place is massive! Each of the companies did a great job of decorating their booths - I was amazed at the amount of work that a lot of them put in to their themes . Making Memories seemed to be the most popular spot with their new cutting device, the Slice. They were giving away T-shirts and doing tons of raffles (I actually won a bag of goodies - yay me! ). The Slice is kind of a cross between the Cricut and the Design Runner. Didn't really interest me too much. I also got lucky at Quickutz and won one of their raffles . I got a Revolution and 6 of their new 12" border dies that are coming out soon. All of the companies had lots of great new paper lines (love Bazzill's new birthstone bling colors). I ended up with so many freebies and prizes that I needed another suitcase to get it all home (we were quite a sight traipsing through the airport!).

We flew in 2 days early and checked out some of the LSS's in the area, and took some classes.

Anyway, just wanted to share my experience and let you know if you ever get the opportunity to attend CHA - GO! I had a great time. Although I'm paying for it now - jet lag and pregnancy aren't a great combination!

It was so much fun to see all of the new stuff, although there was so much it's all starting to blend together.

Creative Imaginations has some cute new lines coming out (the pregnancy one is a definite for me!), although very little new "Disney" stuff.

Sandylion and EK both have some awesome new Disney stuff coming in the next few months. Lots of new papers, albums, and 3D embellishments. Sandylion had some Disney paper packs that looked interesting (kind of like the DCWV stacks). There seems to be quite a focus on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Most of the princess stuff I saw had a lot of gold and rhinestones to it.

It was nice to see that the companies are starting to have more boy stuff.

There were a lot of stamps - every line seems to have coordinating stamps.

Met some "celebrities": Heidi Swapp, a man and woman who host a show on DIY (forget the name), and the girl who designs the penquin stuff for Imaginisce. Saw Tim Holtz.

The Bazzill birthstone Bling is a pack that has the colors that coordinate with each month's birthstone (i.e. September is sapphire, so there is a pretty blue, etc.). I forget when that's coming out.

Cricut had the best make and takes - I made the cutest pirate frame. The Pooh stuff is adorable!

It so hard to remember all of the details!
