Count me in as lazy!! I am worse in winter, I think I have Seasonal Affective Disorder.

I just can't seem to get motivated to do what I need to do.

Of course, if I won the lottery, I would be fine!!!

I'm lazy too but now I have a reason. I work parttime...lol

I used to homeschool my kids but then they went back to school. I'd sit at home all day and watch tv and then an hour or two before my DH came home I'd rush around and do a few things. Then it would look like I did something all day.

OK Deb,

You and I have the right idea! Or at least, I USED to have the right idea! On my day off, about an hour before DH would come home, I would call to see when he'd be home. Then I'd run around and clean, vacuum, sweep, throw the dishes in the wash, start some laundry, and be in the kitchen making dinner when he walked in. Voila! Look! I'm productive!

But lately- nope. I haven't even made the effort. I felt really guilty after starting this thread yesterday so I did get up about 3 hours before he was to be home and actually cleaned my kitchen, started laundry, and made dinner. BUT otherwise- I wouldn't have.

I think acknowledging my problem has made an improvement already though

I'm glad you found something that motivates you because I never did. I would feel so bad that DH would work all day and I'd get to sit at home and lounge around all day That was enough to motivate me to do the 1 or 2 hours before he came home. I convinced myself that I organized the household and ran our life so that was equal to his work. He'd probably agree because he hates running the house and calendar!
