I stapled my pants today.

On purpose. My hem came down on both legs but I didn't notice it until I was in front of my building. It was like that scene in Harold and Kumar go to white castle, where they were in their hallway only a few feet from their door - saying that they had gone to far. I had gone too far and now the bottom of my pants sparkle.

I've been there! Once, before a client meeting, the elastic waistband in my stockings went and I used a binder clip to attach my stockings to the waistband of my skirt.

I did that to DS pj bottoms a few weeks ago. It was pajama day at school, his pants were too long and it was 7:25 in the morning.

Duct tape works wonders. That stuff can solve any problem.

Not only have I stapled my pants...but I have paperclipped them...and I agree with a previous poster. Duct tape...works wonders!

I accidentally stapled myself to some paperwork once. I was wearing a shirt with long drapey sleeves and it got under the papers when I stapled them together. Didn't notice until I put the papers in someone's bin, turned to walk away, and the papers came with me.

I stapled my sweater once. The elbow area had a hole and I didn't realize it until after I got to work.

Split my pants working on one of my Copiers and went right for the stapler and back to work within 15 mins.

I now have carried thread and needle in my tool bag. Have never had to use it since then.

I agree. I am short and all my pants need to be hemmed. I dont have the patience to do it for myself so i use my duct tape. I love it!!!

I have also found myself using staples and paperclips. We women are resourceful.

I haven't stapled (yet), but count me in as a taper. Used to use that one quite a bit.

That's a good idea! Dad always kept a roll of toilet paper in the car and now I do the same thing...
