I Spy a Pin with the Color of....

GUESS WHAT!?!?? We found out this morning we PASSED ROFR! It actually passed on Saturday. 38 days - not bad!
(Grand Californian, 200 points, Feb Use Year, $199/point - I know high but well.... it's been going for $215+ so we'll take it)
Woo Hoo! Now just 2-3 more months for the rest of the process but whatever - just knowing it's going to be yours is the stressful part. Though yes... it would be sweet to get points in the account by early January as they expire on Jan 31st and we might be able to snag a quick end of the month reservation and gift it to a friend who lives nearby or something rather than 200 points just going to waste . Oh AND Riviera dues only went up 7 cents. I know - they started high so the first year wouldn't see much of an increase - glad that's true but know it will be going up next year. Grand Cal went up 40 cents to $6.99. Super Elated here today!

Yeah!! I am so happy for you!!

I have been away today from Disboards. My sister and I went to north Jersey to visit out 84 year old aunt who is recovering from quadruple heart bypass. She looks wonderful for being only 2 1/2 weeks into recovery. She‘s a family treasure, so glad we went.

I'm going to pretend her skirt is white.
I'm one of those weird ones that could give or take fireworks - enjoy them but just as happy to go ride some less populated rides during the parades/fireworks .

I don’t have room for all my Flower and Garden pins in my case.
I do like fireworks more than rides, and especially enjoy dessert fireworks viewing. What would be a favorite ride then. I have ridden Dumbo during fireworks to see what it would be like.

Short for Nicholas but just decided I didn't like the Nick spelling - But pronounced the same way.
Weird thing is that I joined a choir a couple years ago and one of the like 20 guys had
my exact name first and last with the same spelling! He married into his last name.

My sister gave me this case, which is full, I bought myself a smaller one that I bring on cruises especially if I have arranged to go to a pin swap. However, I also have many still on cards. I think I may need another case!

I do enjoy collecting Winnie the Pooh. Sometimes there would be pin exchanges via mail on the “Exchange “ board here. We used to have active exchanges, but interest has died off completely. The Exchange beard and this board was where I got to know a fair number of Disboarders.

We had a “Gamers Meet” in October 2013. Also people from Community Board. This was after a fireworks cruise.

I only have less than 20 Ursula pins so need to start collecting and want to start collecting Riviera since there have only been like 6 so far it will be easy to catch up. . Cute bag - will take a look at options at Pin Traders next time I'm in the parks. When we are in the park we load up our lanyards with pins we buy on Ebay and swap them out for Donald Duck ones - haha. They are so cheap when you buy them in bulk that if a kid is eyeing one I usually fork it over even if they aren't trading . Fun pic of you and the crew - is that at Grand Californian?



I'm trying to be good and stick to just Ursula and Riviera (though may do Grand Cal too).
