Wohoo!!! I sold my first Disney package today! In fact I sold two!!! I'm so thrilled. I knew that you folks here were probably the only ones who would find this as exciting as me!!!
To think that two and a half years ago a dream was born right here on these boards. I found you all as I was dreaming of my own Disney cruise never thinking that I could afford such a wonderful thing. With the help of all of you and your tips and ideas I was able to take my family on a Magical cruise. The spark was lit, I dreamt of helping others make their dreams come true. With encouragement from my friends on the DIS I enrolled in Travel Agent school. I didn't let Sept 11 and its impact on travel deter my dreams, I pushed on and finally got a job here at Big Bens. While their focus isn't packages I kept at it till finally they told me to go for it. I took the Disney College of Knowledge earning my ears(!!!!) and jumped in!!! I helped a family of 7 afford a dream trip to Disneyland , with the kids fly free program stay four nights pay for three and the 5 days for the price of 3 they couldn't pass it up!! They called their neighbors and told them of the great deal I helped them get and so the neighbors called and booked too. Long story short... I finally did it!! My dream job fullfilled, okay so I'm a little over the top, but I'm so proud of myself right now and I knew only you guys would "get it"
