The place looks great!!! As stated recently, across from the BC store is the sign announcing the July 1 opening. The landscaping is done and much of the outside. I saw some Disney suits walking around the courtyard looking at the buildings. I saw in the first floor windows, outdoor furniture which i guess will be moved outside around July 1.

If someone were to ask me my first impression of the BCV, it has the quiet tones of OKW, the fantastic location of the BWV, and the always fun SAB. A great combo!! I know it seemed peaceful because it was empty, but the courtyard and quiet pool looked very inviting and a great place to recharge the batteries after a busy day. The place looks very rich and anyone who visits will be impressed. I'm a jealous BW owner who hopes to snag some reservations with the 7 month window.

hey dave , thanks for the report.. will be there first week in sept. cant wait . love the set up . thanks again....dave:cool:

Hi Dave, Did you happen to look around the back of the building to see what they've done to block any view or noise from the road? I know that's been our concern... Thanks for the report by the way!!

Dave, thanks for the report! Any and all "BCV Snoop" reports are welcomed here!!

When we were there first of April, no landscaping had been done. We'll be back next week and am excited to see the landscaping. Are the construction fences down and is the quiet pool finished?

Thanks for the report! As a new BCV owner, it is so exciting to see and hear progress reports.

Donna

It's *great* to have first hand reports like yours! So what did the quiet pool look like? Pretty standard?

Thanks again!

Yes, I too snooped. I have a picture taken from the entrance road leading to the BC...unfortunately I don't have a scanner with my new Dell.
It's beautiful and very similar to the BC looks except in mint green. There was a professional photographer taking a photo from a ladder right next to me....maybe for the new guidebook or pamphlets...The pool, from what we could see, was just that. Nothing too fancy but beautiful. We tried to find out if it would be sand bottomed but no one we asked knew.
We also weren't sure about the DVC valet parking, but they let us valet park free at BC; dh thought it was anywhere at Disney resorts, I thought it was only the DVC resorts. ;)
We're staying in a 2BR Dec. 1-6; any suggestions on the quieter date for the MVMCP? Thinking the 3rd would be our best bet.

Great Pics!

We will be at BCV the second week of Sept.
I can't wait.

Thanks for snooping around and for sharing with us.

We snooped this past week, too. It seemed to me that the construction fences were still up. The closest view we got was from riding the bus around the loop to get back to BWV from Magic Kingdom. Yes, the back side is very close to the road, I would expect lots of noise from the busses. A large number of units face the Beach Club, so those or the pool view rooms would be best I would think. You MIGHT have a view of fireworks at Epcot on the highest floors on the back side. There are a lot of trees in between. Diana

Love those pictures! I am so excited about the BCV, our "home away from home" Thanks for posting them!

isnkr,

Great pics......fellow buckeye!!!!!!! Where is Powell Oh???

It's north of Columbus but south of Delaware. It is where the Columbus Zoo is located. I actually work at The OSU Medical Center. Go Bucks!!!!!!!!:D

isnkr,

Thanks for the info;) , Jim Tressell will do an excellent job at OSU.
We live in Girard, about 10 miles north of Youngstown. We have friends that live in Dublin.:D

We're staying in a 2BR Dec. 1-6; any suggestions on the quieter date for the MVMCP? Thinking the 3rd would be our best bet.

I would go for the 3rd too. Sunday is the first party, so Tuesday would be your best bet. We're going Dec 7 to 13 (BWV), I'm thinking Tuesday the 10th.

Thanks for the input... Where are you all requesting your rooms? I usually just go with the flow....unless I've been there and know my preference. But with the new resort....I don't know. My thoughts are that asking for a pool view ground level would be smart with three pre teens; but also wondering if fireworks might be nice as well.

Dave, Thanks for the update report on BCV. We are going the end of August and I am soooooo excited!:bounce: :bounce:

isnkr, Thanks for the great photos. Can't wait to stay at BCV:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
