But the "people are born that way" crowd stop the logic at homosexuality. They must think that any other sexual attraction is not inborn only the one that fits their agenda. How convenient. If sexual attraction is truly inborn then doesnt that apply to ALL sexual attractions? If people cant help themselves then we should legalize everything. You're obviously stretching things; that slope isn't as slippery as you think. Pedophiles may be born the way they are, but it doesn't change the fact that what they do harms a child. Nice try, you will notice I said "homosexual pedophiles" NAMBLA is the group that is made up of "homosexual pedophiles." This is a statement of fact. I never equate the two nor do I say that homosexuality is the same as molesting a child.

Okay all--I've tried to be patient. But some people are just wrong. And I'm tired of having to listen to homophobic b.s. to justify the oppression of HUMAN BEINGS. So if someone doesn't like homosexuality--quick and easy answer--DON'T BE A HOMOSEXUAL. Otherwise, how dare anyone tell people who GOD made that they are somehow "abnormal" and "deviant"--or does that person think God is wrong, too? And if someone doesn't think that God made all of us, and we chose who we are to love, then: 1) why would anyone CHOOSE to live their lives in fear and danger because they choose to love someone of the same sex?
and 2) how did anyone CHOOSE to be heterosexual? They didn't. I didn't. We just are. (You can tell us by the way we dance--badly.)
Why can't we all let people be who they are? It has nothing to do with deviance. It has nothing to do with pedophilia. It has to do with being what they were born to be. If one can't accept it, well, I'm sure there have been other movements that have been difficult to accept--women's rights, civil rights...But fortunately our country has learned to deal with it. And somehow, God willing, we'll come around to the rights of homosexuals (who do happen to be human) too.
