I seriously need help!!!!

I vet gave my puppy the kennel cough shot for free....actually it wasn't really a shot.....he spray something up my puupy's nose, as he said "I know it feels like you're drowning but you will be OK. I was very fortunate to get a friend to take care of my puppy/almost full grown for my trip in August. And the shot that were required for boarding cost about $50 total for me.

I am pretty lucky right now that most of the time my In-laws (who gave us our wonderful puppy!) take him when we take trips on our own.

My word of advice would be something that my parents did when we were younger and going on trips (it is also something that others have suggested). Do you have a neighborhood with kids/pre-teens/teens/college students? We had a neighborhood growing up that always had kids that my parents would ask to pet/house sit and pay them a minimal fee for their services (about 20 bucks probably)! This always worked wonderfully and gave the "sitter" some responsibility and "job exprience".

I hope that you can figure this out for your dog...I certainly know what you are going through right now...it can sometimes be such a bother to remember about our pooches when we go out of town!

Have a wonderful day,
Korey
