I sent/recieved my Ornament Exchange

DD and I mailed ours out today. We had to wait for a bit for something to be finished to be put into it, but it got included!

It's going almost straight west of us, sent priority mail.

Oh, and I should also post that we received our package from KelliR the other day in the mail and were literally floored.

We met Kelli at WDW last year for DIScon and in addition to the wonderful ornament (It was a Mickey ball ornament from WDW with 'The Fulcers' written across it) and other various items that she included to make it an awesome package, she included pictures that she took of us while at DIScon last year.

Way cool! What a small world (pun intended) and we're glad that Kelli got our name - she's a great Exchanger for sure!

Thanks Kelli! Would it be selfish of me to hope you get our name again next year.

Well my Canadian friend, when I got back from WDW, there were two very sweet snowmen ornaments waiting for me............right now they are hung on my cabinets in my kitchen where I see them every day...............when I put my tree up, which I am picking up today, they will have a place of honor on my tree..

I have just sent PMs to all those whom I did not see as sending. And I am happy to report that several have replied they they had sent very recently. We are moving along. I will be looking at sent dates and sending PMs to non reporting recievers. I will allow 7 business days for domestic mail, 20 for international. I will let the senders know what I hear back!

This has been a really smooth exchange, considering the size. Thanks to all of you who participated.

Songgirl: The mailman arrived a full hour early today and he knocked on my door making me think my cockateil was tipping his cage(he's been trying to lately LOL). Instead there's this this nice big box for me Thanx so much for the candles and the ornaments. DH and i just love candles and have1 burning every night. The candy candles are so cute.

I think the Wisconsin Ornament will be a big hit with DH. He's originally from Racine LOL. Can't wait to show it to him when he gets home from work tonight.
And Minnie is so pretty. She tinkles even. Is she Radko? She looks like 1. If she's not she's very close.
Both will be treasured in our house for years to come.

Don't worry bout taking so long. If i had a trip scheduled I would have waited too. And it was worth the wait. I hope you had a wonderful trip. Maybe 1 of these years I'll get to WDW at Christmas.

I just received a WONDERFUL package from DisneyVacationMom!!! I've been out shopping today and I came home to this great package on my doorstep! I was going to wait for my kids to come home before opening it because I know they'd enjoy seeing what was inside, but that idea lasted about 5 min. before I gave in!!

Kathy sent me a great smelling candle shaped like Mickey and a stand to put it on, a snowman ornament that says "God Bless America" and a Canadian snowman, since Kathy is from Canada! I love it all!!! Thank you so much!!!

This is the 3rd year I've participated in the DIS ornament exchange and I look at the other ornaments I have received previously with such fondness. I love this and thanks again Mickeyfan for putting this all together!

Now if I'd just find out what happened to the package I sent out . . . .

Just received my package from momtomootoo! It was absolutely one of the most beautiful Christmas balls I have ever seen! It is a big ball with gold snowflakes on it and gold trim. It came in a gold mesh bag that is almost as pretty as the ornament. Laura said her DD helped pick it out and insisted on the gold one! I also received a deep red and gold velvet hanging pillow that says I Believe and guess what, I truly do. Then there were four yummy Ghirardelli chocolates in it. I won't tell who has already had two of them! Thank you so very very much! I appreciate all!

Thank you Whitegloves - I received my package today. In my Disney Store box was a beautiful Tinkerbell ornament. Tinkerbell is sitting atop a green bulb with the year 2003 inscribed. I also received a handpainted snowman pin. Whitegloves is a very talented painter. I have received compliments all day while wearing my new pin.
