I sent/received my tea towel/dish towel exchange

dear Mrs Dozzle, i got your tea towel set and white chocolate bear 2 days ago and have just gotten a chance to log on and tell you how it brightened my day,my entire family got a kick out of the towel with the horses(we love horses) and the map,it is still out on our dining table for everyone to look at ,thank you again we (I) really loved it,i am so late sending mine out ,but lars will get it monday or tuesday ,sorry for being so late!!

I'm glad you liked your stuff! I've been SO worried about it, it should have been there about four weeks or more ago! :eek:

I paid for air mail but I wonder if the man forgot to stick the sticker on or something, that's how long overland takes. I'm glad it got there in the end, just sorry you had to wait so long - and very glad the wait was worth it! :wave:

Hello Poohshoney.

I absolutely adore my tea towel (but it's so lovely....that I can't bring myself to use it :rolleyes:

so it's a "display" tea towel at the moment).

But I never had any doubt that my tea towel would arrive - it did have to come about 1/2 way around the world - from Germany to the west coast of Canada. And believe me it was worth waiting for! The fridge magnet is very nice too! (When my DS - early 20's - saw the magnet with the German saying on it he jokingly said, "oh, cool - new 'kitty' fridge magnet - with a secret message on it!") :teeth:

I know you're a Brit - and for Brits - 'Mothering Sunday' was a few weeks ago. But it is Mother's Day here in Canada - as well as the US. If you are reading this and you celebrate 'Mothering Sunday': For all the important and wonderful things that we do, I'd like to wish you another Happy Mother's Day!

I have a problem.

I got my tea towels yesterday. I love them, one has flowers and one has bunnies and Easter eggs. However, I don't know who they came from so I don't know who to thank.

I do know they came from Texas and had a sweet card enclosed.

My DN4 was here when I opened the package. She feel in love with the card and the towel with the bunnies. I was able to get the towel back before she went home, but I can't find the card!

I need to know who I should thank. Please help.

I'm off to Orlando Wednesday and staying at the airport tomorrow so I won't be here to check what's happening.

I've not seen the person I sent too post at all here so I'm just hoping she either got my package or that it's still on it's way (although 3 weeks for airmail is pushing it some!)

Anyway, had fun with this

Well, here I am finally to say that I received my towel from Neo's White Rabbit. It was a beautiful towel of her area in England! She also sent along some chocolate bunnie's that my kids really liked!!

Sorry it has been so long for me to say I received mine ~ I have just had too much going on that I haven't had the time to use the computer!!

If you are still waiting on a package please know that it should be there any day now ~ it did go out a couple days late, but it is on its way. I will be watching to see when it arrives for someone!
