I sent/received my tea towel/dish towel exchange

Although I haven't gotten mine yet, I am really excited because it may be in my mail box today. Sometimes it take a long time for mail to get to the desert, I think we still use camel express.

Oh, it's an absolutely gorgeous genuine Irish Linen tea towel! It's entitled: I'M SLIMMING TOMORROW (...oh, gee, I'll have to hide it from the W.I.S.H. peeple!..... )

It's a 'fun' towel with a cartoonish kitty doing various things and with amusing sayings underneath like:
....chairs have got smaller....
....Sundae, Monday, what does it matter.....
....I'm just having a little middle age spread on toast....
....just enough time for a little panic eating before supper....

There is also a cat fridge magnet that says: "Je mehr ich uber Manner weib, umso mehr liebe ich katzen". Poohshoney also included a beautiful postcard from where she lives in Germany (and on the postcard translated the German for me).

Woo-hoo! Thank you Poohshoney! Everything is absolutely fabulous!

Those of you who are waiting on confirmation of your exchange arriving at it's destination, please hang it there a bit longer.

I know it's hard, but please if you could just hang on a bit longer it would be great.

I just got my package! It had evidently been sitting in the managers office for a couple of days and I didn't know it!

I want to know how you peeked into my dining room--It is decorated in burgandy, navy and cream with hearts! What a perfect match!

What a treat- I got mine today!!!! Thank you so much "Mom of 20H" my tea towel set was beautiful. It was a summer theme and I just loved everything!!! It really perked up my day. Thanks again- Ellen I hope mine posts that she got hers- I am waiting---

A beautiful sunny morning here in England was greatly enhanced by the arrrival of my box from Merriweather. Thank you so much She's beeen extremely generous - my kitchen will be resplendant with matching sunflower cloths and towels, quaint little bumble bees and I also have a very useful DIS pin with my handle on

I'll be wearing that and thinking of you when we get there next week Merriweather.

The box took 12 days to get here, via airmail, from the west coast of the USA for anyone worried about packages taking forever to arrive. Seems like the mail is very slow - always happens after Easter for some reason.

Mine arrived today!!!!

How exciting to arrive at the post office and while waiting in line spy a box that says DIS exchange and knowing it just had to be for me!!!!

I received a wonderful package from jimmytammy and she just spoiled me. First when I tore off the brown mailing paper I found a beautiful Mickey box and inside was a towel set and pot holder with different fruit and a matching apron. Also enclosed was a gourmet cappuccino packet and a Yankee Candle votive and votive holder.

Tammy, I can't thank you enough for all of the goodies, I love it all!!!

Hi Michelle, My 2 tea towels arrived today! Thank you so very much! They are really pretty! My kids were so excited, they couldn't wait for me to get home to open it! They even left it in the mail box, so I could get the full effect! This was really a fun exchange!

I did receive my Dish Towel. It was a very special towel direct from WDW! It has a recipe for Mickey pancakes on it which my husband promptly made that night for dinner!
