I sent/received my coffee mug exchange

I sent mine yesterday.

Wow, this was all the way back on page 5! Or was it 6? Anyway, I received a package today in the mail! It was from crazyme5kids.

Inside was a New York coffee mug with a picture of the twin towers on it. A large, brightly colored mug with a leopard, lion and tiger on it. And a blue checked matching kitchen towel and oven mitt with four lovely red lady bugs on them.

Wow that was quick! Hopefully they made it in one piece, the post office was out of bubble wrap so I just kept my fingers crossed LOL.

Everything was in great shape except for the box. It was run through the wringer but the contents made it through fine.

I received my mug today - from Melissa - aka "Gaspode" - a wonderful mug from Wales - 2 postcards - a great bread recipe and some chocolate - 1 of which got eaten immediately !!

Yay! My first exchange worked
I'm very glad it all got to you Paula... I'm curious, was the postcard name description accurate?!
The recipe is actually for a fruit cake, such as you might eat around Christmas... or just any time of year as it isn't as heavy as a Xmas cake!

Was the postcard accurate?...well - lets see...I'm only 5' 1" - so petite fits for sure!! I must be sweet because I was bringing my DD (she turned 16 on the 5th) out for lunch and shopping. Expensive taste..but of course!!

I want to thank whomever sent me my lovely green mug and the Texas mug. My son was so helpfull in cleaning up that he threw out the card and I don't remember your name.

I also want to let someone in TX know that their mug is on the way. The end of the school year always seems so hectic.
