My son got his hair frosted at the salon about 3 months ago. Cost - $70
He decided he wanted it done again, so with the knowledge of me watching the first time and the internet, I bought a kit for $10 and did it on my own.
His hair is a medium brown, and now he has caramel colored streaks throughout it. It looks sooooo nice! It adds a lot of color and shine. (And I am so proud of myself, as I was not sure if I could do it.)
It took a long time to pull the hair through the cap, but it would have at the salon anyway, and now that I know that I can do it, he can get it done every 3 months. All I need to pay for is a professional cut.
