I saved $200.06 in Kohl's today

Let me start out by saying that I am not a regular Kohl's shopper. I only shopped there for Christmas because of the Kohl's cash and rewards.

I went inside Kohls today and bought:
2 pair of gym pants $14.99/each
3 packs of Bath towels (6 towels per pack) $2.99/each
Quilt $21.99
Long sleeve gym shirt $9.99
2 gym tees $13.99/each
1 sweater $9.99

My grand total was $36.19

I used $40 in Kohls cash. They sent me another coupon worth $25 for cancelling an item I purchased online. Then I had another coupon for $10 off $30.

And....I still have $30 in Yes2You rewards that I can spend on Dec. 31st.

I'm feeling good...

that's awesome! I love shopping at Kohl's for those reasons above! The stacking of coupons. Ive been dabating with myself on whether or not to go and peek today...I also have a $25 gift card, plus the $10 off of 30 today....I am sure I'd find Something...lol

But I think I'm done with Kohls. I'm so tired of their Kohls Cash return policy. I earned $10 in KC and later spent it. I returned some of the original purchase and all of the items I used the KC on, but instead of just crediting me on my credit card I'm now left with a $12 gift card.

I understand that since I returned the original items my kohls cash was no longer valid, and I was ok with that, but why won't they just credit my card for it? And now, since I have a gift card, I can't use one of those 15%, 20% or 30% off coupons, since you have to use your Kohls charge card for it.

But then I see your score and I know that feeling of a great deal.

Aww I'm sorry to hear about that. I read about their policy on returning things so I made sure to only get what I knew I would want to keep.

And their prices are beyond ridiculous so when I go to spend my last Y2Y rewards dollars, I'll be done until they offer more Kohl's cash.

As long as you pay for part of it with kohls Credit card you can you the percent off discounts. Use your gift card and then pay balance with credit card.

My mom & I went today and it was pretty crowded. The return line was super long and the check outs went out past the registers. I saved my return for another time and check out went pretty quickly. I didn't need much - DS needed some more sweatpants and I needed some gloves. We both used $10 off $30 on our purchases.

I will have some Y2Y rewards in January but otherwise, I am DONE shopping for awhile!

This might depend on who is helping you. I paid with a store credit (or maybe that is different) the other night and used a coupon without a problem. If you don't want to lose your KC and you want to make a return you can try to do it without a receipt. I did that and got the refund on a GC, and my KC stayed intact. It doesn't always work to give you back the same amount, but it often does, or us close enough.

The current $10 off of $30 can be used with "any tender type", so you could use that one with your gift card.

Agree. I saved $276 on two sequin skirts and a print merino wool cardigan from Garnett Hill. I had no problem paying $66 for the three items. No way would I have paid the original retail of $342.
