Thanks for taking the time to read this. I am analytical, so I can follow instructions; however, I was not born creative. I looked online to make MNSSHP t-shirts for 4 people and with tax and shipping, it was going to be 29 bucks a T-shirt. I refuse to pay. Can anyone walk me step by step on how to make a T-shirt?

I would be forever in your debt.... Thanks Friends!

BTW- Michael's has Tshirts on sale for $5 dollars.

Sure! Here's what you do...

Look through each DISigner's thread and find whatever designs you like. If they need to be personalized, put a request on their thread. Do this asap as they get many requests and it can take a while to get your design.

Then, head back to Michaels or try Jiffyshirts.com, online, and order the shirts to go with your designs.

Go to amymickey.com and order some of her awesome transfers.

When your designs are finished, save them to your computer, print them out on the transfers and follow Amy's directions for ironing them on the shirts! That's it! and you won't spend anywhere near $29 a shirt! :goodvibes

I agree 100% with Twoboysnmygirl!

It really is easy...I am pretty analytical also, so I follow directions well, and those are good!

OH!!! do you have to have a fancy printer? Mine is a regular color printer...

No, a regular ink-jet printer is just fine. There's a whole thread here about making a dark-color tshirt with an iron-on design -- find that, and you're good. It was very helpful to me when I made shirts in March (although to be honest, I've made plenty of iron-on shirts -- but this thread had some fantastic directions and tips). It's fun! and your shirts are exactly what you want them to be.

Nope, regular printer works just fine!

I did forget to mention that as you are looking for designs, you need to keep in mind what kind of transfer you will use. I personally like dark transfers better and think they work the best. IF you use them, you need a border around your designs if you are putting them on a colored shirt. If you are putting them on a white shirt, it doesn't matter! :goodvibes

Thank you so much ladies... tonight after work, I am going to Michaels to get transfer paper... I got an old stained T-shirt that I washed and ironed that I am going to do a practice run on. Wish me luck!!!

Okay ladies... I have bought the $2 Michaels T-shirts and I bought the transfers... Why am I so nervous? You would think that I was about to jump off a bridge.

Cool Trinity cool, I have a bag from Hobby Lobby with my iron ons waiting for me to run them through the printer.
Maybe this week, it's getting to close to delay any more.

Boo!
