Now I can handle that things arent just what they were. Im not an overly vain person. Not into makeup. Certainly not a girly-girl. <<Psst, I hate the color pink. Always have.>> I understand I have had 3 kids and nursed them all. Im smaller and just not quite as...perky...as I was, if you know what I mean. Im ok with that. At least until after Ive had the 4th were still planning on. Ive had 3 c-sections. The tummy will never be flat. I can handle that. At least until after Ive had the 4th were still planning on.
I can handle the fact that college kids look like, well, kids. I can handle that when I was out walking today a tween girl looked at me said Hi. Were just talking mam. That made me laughhard. But, of course, its a sign Im looking like an authority figure. OK, just old.
But, I SIMPLY REFUSE, to go gray. Oh boy, its time to start coloring my hair. I had to pull out two gray hairs!!

Needless to say, I am an expert colorist now.

(legally, that is)

People would just think I've lost my mind. And I'm hiding that fact pretty well. My kids need playdates. Oh, wait, another thread mixing. I'm doing that a lot tonight. I hope that isn't like mixing metaphors. Not that I would know if I did that. But that would land me on yet another thread.
