I received word today...

my promotion is official!!! The first of the year I will be Senior Clerk! That is my official title. I'm still the detective bureau secretary. It will mean a substantial pay increase. I am amazed this happened because all city departments were told to trim their budgets! I knew my boss had recommended me for this promotion but I wasn't sure it would be approved. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful place to work!!!
