I really miss the magic.....small pout

Sounds great, Beth, you WILL do it. :cool1: :thumbsup2 And it will be soooo good for you all. Have you run the idea by the folks on the Budget board here, they have VERY sharp pencils over there I heard.

I so hope that this can work out for you! You've been through been through so much and you and your DH and DS really deserve it. Don't worry about what your family would say and think. It's very possible that this could be the upper that you really need at a difficult time in your life. How can they fault you for that? I hope you work out the details! :grouphug:

Have a good time !!! I think vacation planning is the best therapy in the world !!! We all need something to look forward to, and I know I was thrilled to pieces to take advantage of free dining and book a September trip. Life has been difficult lately, and planning ADRs, checking out attractions...a much needed break. Good luck, post a trip report when you come back, we'll be at POP too.

Trying to decide where to request at Pop that will be close to the Food Court without being a premium room.

My DD and I were in the 50's building--VERY close to the food court.

I've been in the 70's a couple of times. Also close, but I think 50's was a little closer and if you have a car 50's is closer to the parking. If they are aware of your health issues they might place a highter priority on the building request (not sure if that really helps, but it won't hurt). I've also been in the 60's building once (preferred), but it wasn't as close as my 50's room, simply because of where my 50's room happened to be (the 60's was a nice lake facing room, however).

Yay! Called back tonight (it's such an addiction!) to request the 50's building, non smoking, and top floor. La de da! I'm still not telling anyone... just ya'll! Yippeee! :sunny:

As one South Carolina girl to another I'm so happy for you! I hope that you have a terrific time and I95 is smooth sailing and not backed up. :thumbsup2
Go and enjoy as you deserve and need Disney Magic.
I don't get to go until I retire due to husband's wishes. Our youngest is a sophmore at the Citadel and the money goes there. :confused3 :confused3 I will retire at the end of next year so save a little Disney magic for me.

Have a blast!

Hope you have an awesome time, nothing better than Disney to recharge your batteries. :goodvibes

After her chemo and radiation treatments this spring and early summer, my mom is joining us for our trip to Disney this December.

How great for your Mom, Pooh! I hope she has a ball!

It's officially official now as I bought the 2006 Birnbaum Guide! LOL! I think I have every one since 2000! It's so exciting!!

Whoooo Hooooo

Now do I have the nerve to try Expedition Everest??? :confused3

If you get up the nerve, ride once for me as I don't do coasters.

What coasters do you do? Do you do Thunder and Space? It's more intense than those, but not as intense as RnR. I say go for it!

It's a fun coaster, albeit a little wild. I got to ride it during the CM preview in January (got invited by a CM that my DD and I were chatting with at the AKL).

I'm so thrilled for you! Enjoy every minute of your trip!.............P

Well, I love Big Thunder and Splash. I do Space Mountain and scream wildly the whole time! LOL! I have done Rock n Roller Coaster and did NOT like it. I won't do it again! I love Tower of Terror, too.

I watched this video of it last night..... I hate those climbs! I'm glad you can sit next to someone! DH says he'll definitely do it!
