Yeah it's all good now
the stress has passed.
SIL is happy to do their own thing (I honestly think they preferred that from the start but felt obligated to try to do what we were doing... so miscommunication all around perhaps.)
they are going to meet up with us when they can and otherwise they are probably going to spend 80% of the time at their own resort. I'm actually even surprised she wanted to come at all because this really is NOT her thing and her son may not handle it well either being at the parks so I'm surprised she wanted to come but I think now that we have all agreed that she just do her own thing and we'll do ours and then meet up when we can it's going to be much better.
It's not that SIL wants attention... it's actually quite the opposite lol. She's just a fly by the seat of your pants, small town hippy (not that there is anything wrong with hippies) who doesn't march to the beat of the same drum as most of us do lol. She is polar opposite to her parents and her brother (my hubby lol). So I think a lot of this was her tryign to please MIL by wanting to be included (even though she probably didn't want to do all of that anyway) and MIL didn't want to leave her left out. so it was like they were both trying to do what they thought the other would want when really they wanted the same thing to start with lol
and I am the honorary "tour guide" so that's why I have been the one to make all the reservations and plans lol. MIL told me "You know what you are doing... you missed your calling in life... so please be our guide" lol
