I really hate MDE

So it seems that a lot of people have been having the problem where they keep seeing old FP+s even though they changed the times, on their Reservations and Itinerary screens in the app. It seems that if you use the Change function, you will see which ones are the "real" ones. It renders the My Reservations and My Plans portion of the app completely useless, but whatever. I'll go with the ones in the Change screens.

Now I have the opposite problem. I changed times only for three of my FPs, same day, same park. But now on My Reservations and My Plans, I only see two! Which makes no sense to me because I changed all of the times. And now the only way I can see the third exists, is to go into the Change screens.

I guess my question is....Should I trust that the third FP really exists because it's in the Change screens?

I think yes, you can trust the third FP+ exists because it's in the change screen. Think of them as separate views. They should obviously reflect the same information, but clearly there are some design considerations that are causing the difference. That said, when you go to the change screen the backend systems containing your FP+ should be queried (to ensure correct information is displayed) and anything there should be correct. I changed up some of my FP+ to squeeze in MSEP and it took a few days for the Plans and Reservations views to update.

Yep MDE sucks, last night I lost my perfect time slot for TSMM for 4 of my family members (we are a party of 7 sharing a villa). I'm so ticked off because I wasn't even changing our TSMM FP+, no idea why the computer decided to move that while I was changing ToT. I tried to fix it but there were no time slots left. Had to rebook the whole day and now we are stuck with awful times. I'm so po'ed.

I "think" as long as your change screen is showing the correct thing you will be fine, but when I called IT for the same thing last week for my friend they claimed that the itinerary page was correct. My friend wound up bagging the whole day so I have no idea which one turned out right.

If I hoof it over to this FP when I'm there and it's not in the system, I'm just gonna, well, who am I kidding, I'm not going to do anything because what's the point...

Me too! I have also taken screenshots of the app on my phone so that I have some proof in case they all disappear.

Yup, that's where I see them. It's just a hassle though because I'll always have to go to the change screen to see it. Or, heaven forbid, write them down (old school).

Oh that's good, at least they are there.

It's a real hassle and defeats the whole point of the app for planning purposes. So I have extra FPs that aren't real, and my real FPs are missing.

We had trouble with changes in ressie times showing up on the app but no problem when we hit the attractions...Happened twice during our trip and I was very nervous about losing our appointed time. Didn't have any problem however! Good luck!

So which ones worked? The ones showing up on your change screen or the ones showing up on your itinerary?
