I can't stand it because poor Larry CONSTANTLY gets crapped on! I realize sometimes he brings it on himself, but come on. And his wife never sticks up for him.

Ugh. Just had to vent that. My hubs loves the show, and I really dislike it.

Ya, ya...poor Larry....but this show is hysterical. DH got me watching it and I am not big into TV at all...and if we happened to see it on, we watch it and it is really funny...doesn't Larry write the show anyway...and they have received their share of Emmy's as well.

Gosh, I love that show. I think he is such an idiot sometimes but you are right, he gets picked on. I love the episode when he is in the Producers and he is going to cash in on his 10 year anniversary present of sleeping with another women until he finds out she likes George Bush. No politics debate, but it was hilarious.

I love his agent/best friend's wife. She HATES larry.

It's a great show, probably the best on TV after Seinfeld.

I don't think it will be coming back though.

HBO offers some great shows, Entourage, Sopranos, and even the new show Lucky Louie is very good.

Well, here's a woman that LOVES it!

And, yes, poor ol' Lar' is always catching it from both ends, isn't he? A couple of years ago, hubby and I were arguing over something (can't remember what) and he finally screamed, "You aren't going to Larry David me into this!!" Argument settled - as we both dissolved into laughter.

My favorite episode of all time was the "chef with tourette's syndrome" one where Cheryl had to escape the car wash...and at the end of the episode, everyone in the restaurant is screaming the most filthy profanities at each other. And Suzy doesn't realize what's going on and walks in just as Cheryl's screaming "bleep you, you bleeping bleeping bleeper" and Suzy thinks she's screaming it at her and says, "Well bleep you too, you bleeping carwash bleep!"

Okay, that didn't make sense, and I put too much time into typing it to erase.

Every once in a while Larry gets his shot in. Remember the one where the guy told Larry he was a "self-loathing Jew" because Larry was whistling Wagner? (Larry said that was ridiculous--he was definitely self-loathing, but it had nothing to do with him being a Jew). The episode ended with Larry conducting a small orchestra outside of the guy's bedroom window in the middle of the night.

I found the first few episodes cute but then got tired of Larry's WHINING. I do like Cheryl, though...but I do wonder what such a cute young gal is doing w/such a whiny old man!

Dh & I love this show. My favorite episode is the one where Larry took the hooker to the baseball game so he could drive in the carpool lane.
