:rotfl: Prolly, Prolly, Prolly, Prolly, Prolly, Prolly........ Are you prolly starting to feel "violet" yet? LOL!

Glad you took it in good humor... Actually, you have taken all the criticism better than most would. I think a lot of posters would have just disappeared... I think your biggest mistake was posting your big mistake on a public message board. We have all made some doozies, but to post about them is just asking for trouble. I think you know that you shouldn't have done what you did and I don't think you would ever do anything like that again (even though you may not know it about yourself yet).

You are so correct, I totally agree!

I will be more careful about what I share here. I don't want to upset or offend anyone.

Okay, can we all agree (including the OP) that she lost her temper and did something really stupid? I think we could all agree on that.

Now I want to know, has this happened to everyone at one point in their lives or another, or are the OP and I in need of inpatient treatment?

I purchased a sink at home depot for my DH to install in the upstairs bathroom. This was LAST March. And DH assured me he could do the job and would get to it soon. Okay, in the meantime, this huge box with the sink in it is being stored by him in the downstairs bathroom, taking up room and junking up the look of the beautiful new floors I installed last March (when the sink was also supposed to be done). Okay, so finally, I tell DH (for the millionth time) EITHER INSTALL THAT SINK OR PUT IT SOMEPLACE ELSE. I WILL NOT HAVE IT IN THIS BATHROOM ANYMORE! Then I take my daughter to dance class. When I come home, the sink is no longer in the downstairs bathroom. I'm so tickled, I thank DH profusely (even though really, he should have installed it 11 months ago!). Look Lily, Daddy moved the sink. Kisses, hugs, thank yous. Prepared dinner with love and served him. A couple hours later I head upstairs to go to bed. What should I see sitting against the wall in my sanctuary from the world, my lovely bedroom, but that HUGE BOX WITH THE SINK IN IT!!!!! DH decided this would be a good storage place for the next how many months.

My blood was boiling. I'll admit it, I lost my temper -- big time. I called to DH, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR THIS, PLEASE MOVE IT NOW. His response, "yeah, I'll get around to it". "NOW, PLEASE". Later. The box was too heavy for me to lift, so I pushed and kicked it over to the staircase and I said, "NOW" one more time. No answer. I LOST IT and kicked that dang box with the sink in it right down the stairs!!!!

I could feel adrenaline going through my veins, and I did absolutely the most unconstructive, uncharacteristic, unbelievable thing I have probably ever done. DH didn't speak to me for a day or so, and I was pretty doggone sorry and embarrassed. But in a way it does make me giggle now that it's behind us, because I really just can't believe that something like that came out of me! And I think that's what happened to the OP, the same concept.

Now, if you want, we can all get a chuckle by sharing each other's stories of losing our tempers, or you can flame me and pretend you are perfect and have never lost yours. Whichever! I personally would love to hear the OP and I are not the only ones who have ever LOST it!

I'm not going to keep beating a dead horse...your story applied to you and your DH. Hers applied to her and a STRANGER.

You two are not alone.

I can't think of a story off hand, but have definitely felt that adreneline you are talking about. Unforunately I feel it a little too often for my liking. Like in traffic???:rolleyes1
