I pod touch?

Hi my son has a I Pod Touch and he said that he would download a couple of apps for Disney like the wait times and park hours etc. Will it work when we are in the parks? Thanks for any info.

Sorry, no. The IPOD Touch is wi-fi, and there is no internet in the parks. I have some of those apps. I can live vicariously through those people who are there!

Most of the applications require a live wifi signal to function properly on an iPod Touch. You can get this in many resort areas, but not in guest rooms (unless you bring a wireless router), and not inside the parks (yet). These applications may be useful only for planning purposes, in certain resort areas, before you go to the parks.

Thanks - this is really helpful. DD just bought one this week and I spent hours reconfiguring our security settings, but we're live! She'll love those Disney apps.
