What's a Praxis

Sorry, I got so excited I forgot to say what it is. It's the test you have to take to get your teaching license. Mine was 6 hours long! My verison of the test was a little different b/c I had to configure scoring information and write detailed reports on sample students and what I thought their difficulties were. It was such a pain

My DF is taking me to Chilis tonight for steak and portobello fajitas to celebrate. Yum! We've also got reason to celebrate b/c we don't have to pay $250 again in case I failed

Excellent work. When I graduated from pharmacy, I still had to write my PEBC exams - Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada...3 days of a whole lotta fun!! I was sure I had failed them, especially the third day. But when I got the letter I was on cloud nine, so I can imagine how you're feeling!

Was it the Praxis 1 or Parxis II? I have to take the Praxis II in June and am VERY nervous! What content areas did you take? I'm taking the Elementary Education test.

I am relieved to hear that the struggle with Praxis tests is not in my head. I have taken and passed the NTE, and tomorrow I will attempt to pass the PLT. Does anyone have any help to offer me as to how to pass this test once and or all?
