In NC the gas tax capital of the world its around $2.15 a gallon.

it was $1.89 at the gas station near my house last night...and there as was a HUGE line!!!

I never thought I see the day that I was happy gas was $2!

That is the gas companies goal, to make us think $2.19 is a good price! That was their is no push for lower prices!

$2.39 here on Long Island. When I started it was driving in 1980 it was .98 a gallon. I want those prices back!

$2.01 at several places near me in East TN - and you can get it for 3-cents less than that if you have a gas card.
