Think the next series will be cheaper? How about Black Friday deals? I know they are expensive, and not quite "budget" friendly. But if I budget for it, dosen't that count?

I myself have been trying to rationalize the purchase of an ipad. I do feel the prices will go down closer to xmas or that there will be specials so I'm thinking I'm going to wait.

Very much so, as Apple price-fixes everything...

Best one can hope for is that improvements are made to the iPad, the price will eventually drop (much as it did with the iPhone).
