I've posted a few things on here but haven't officially said anything about myself! My name is Valene and my wonderful, DF is Travis. We met while we were on the WDWCP in the Fall of 2005. We both laugh at the fact that we're both from VA and had to go all the way to Florida to meet. We've been inseperable since Oct 2005. We finished up our CPs and came home. We got engaged December 20, 2006 and will get married May 20, 2008. We felt that since we met at DW, we might as well get married there.
I just mailed back my contract to the DFTW folks and have the day, time, and place all squared away: 10:00am at the Yacht Club Gazebo. I would have loved to have more of a lavish wedding but since our families are so spread out we're just doing the Escape wedding (a LOT cheaper, too!!!). We're thinking of having a laid back reception at the Biergarten with our guests plus invite our local (Orlando) friends to join. We're not too into the "foufy" type stuff, so this will be perfect. We're Disneymooning at the Polynesian the 20th-24th of May. I think our guests are leaving Wednesday, or Thursday. I'm so tickled about it all. We're almost 11 months away, so planning is slow. I may start a planning journal on here to get some opinions. I look forward to catching up and reading people's journals and such.
