we're staying not staying in a one bedroom and we're not staying at OKW!
OKW is our home resort and we absolutely love it there; but, we're a little short on points this year because we're saving to bring family (we'll need a GV). On our last trip, DH mentioned that he'd like to see what it was like staying in the Boardwalk area. So...when I made our mid-Feb reservations late last month, I booked a studio at SSR (we wanted the sofabed instead of a second "real" bed) and waitlisted for either BWV or BCV. Well, much to my surprise, when I checked the lovely new on-line capabilities of the DVC Member website yesterday, I found that our waitlist had come through for BCV.
So, tell me...can two OKW one-bedroom snobs find DVC happiness in a BCV studio? Will the ability to walk to Epcot and MGM and the array of eateries and entertainment that the Boardwalk area offers outway the spaciousness of the OKW 1 bedroom and the convenience of in-room laundry? Is SAB really that great?
We'll find out in 46 days!!

Is the way some people here seem to react, but we are out of our room so much, that the space doesn't make a difference to us. I bring a few clothes(do wash frequently-every other day or two...it's like therapy for me - a chance for an hour of peace and quiet), but there are very few suitcases lying around. I like to bring a shoe bag to keep things off the floor. And doing more cooking than toasting a bagel or microwaving a slice of pizza is doing too much on my vacation. Our summer ones, we go to the summer house and I make meals(not a vacation to me) so WDW has to be restaurants, pools and parks.
Hi So. Portland!
