I'm one of the many that will be there from Nov 21-30. I can't believe I'm actually saying this....but I'm actually NOT looking forward to it! Here's why...
- Last year, we went during Halloween. The crowds were low, it was just the 4 of us, and it was fabulous!
- This year, we're going at Thanksgiving, and the crowds are going to be much worse. Plus, we're going with my BIL, SIL, and their DS. My BIL isn't really the "Disney" type, and my SIL is one of those whose mouth works before her brain does. I'm kinda worried that if something doesn't go the way they want, they'll blame ME for their "bad time".
Guess I need some major pixie dust??

My MIL and BIL go with us most times and I make ADRs with the understading of when and where--we just meet mostly for meals and then if we agree we tour the parks together. Just give them permission to enjoy their family time and meet you for a meal a couple of days. It also helps if you stay at different resorts and decide on a meet time and place. If they want to do MK then you say we will meet you there at 2p.m. then do what you want til then. Of course you could just be honest and say "you guys are bumming me out, lets separate for a while and meet up later--they may be thinking the same thing just afraid to admit it.
